From back when our Dad started Gem Plumbing & Heating in 1949, helping others had always been at the forefront of his mission. That’s no different today. Gem Plumbing & Heating located in Lincoln, RI has joined the fight against breast cancer. As the Founding Sponsor of the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, Gem supports breast cancer education, awareness, and funding for critical breast health programs in their local community. Their donations, a combination of cash and in-kind, are made through the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization which was established by the Gemma Family in memory of their mom who died from breast cancer.

| St. Mary's Home For Children - 'When I Grow Up' Fundraising Event |
Gem Plumbing proudly announces their sponsorship in the St. Mary's Home For Children "When I Grow Up" Fundraising Event to be held on Saturday, March 20, 2004. This event will help to generate funding for the Home's "Shepherd Program" which provides counceling services for children and adolescents who have been sexually abused. This program is the most comprehensive of it's kind in Rhode Island and Gem is proud to have been a part of the event.
